The short version

What it is.

A natural rubber treat ball and a four-cavity silicone freezing tray, designed to work as a pair.

Freeze whatever you like in the tray — bone broth, plain yogurt, wet food, peanut butter, pureed fruit — then pop one out and load it into the ball. Because the treat is frozen, getting to it takes real licking and chewing rather than a couple of bites. The manufacturer puts a full pop at 20–40 minutes of licking.

The ball unscrews at the middle. That is the part that matters for cleaning: it comes apart into two halves you can rinse out completely, so nothing gets trapped somewhere you cannot reach. Both pieces are dishwasher safe — top rack is recommended to prolong the life of the rubber.

It is weighted to sit upright rather than roll away, and the top is shaped so drool runs off instead of pooling.

How it works

Freeze it, fill it, hand it over.

A rubber ball and a silicone tray that work as a pair.

  1. The ball unscrews

It opens at the middle, so you can drop a frozen treat in and rinse the whole thing out afterwards.

  2. Freeze your own

The four-cavity tray takes bone broth, yogurt, wet food or peanut butter, so you decide what goes in.

  3. Made for 25–77 lb dogs

Sized for medium and large breeds who need something that takes real effort.

In practice

Two moments this actually changes.

A dog lying on a rug holding a treat ball between its front paws, nose working at the opening
When you need the room quiet

Twenty minutes, on demand.

There is always a stretch you have not planned for — the call that runs long, the delivery, the meal you would like to eat sitting down.

Hand over a loaded ball and they take themselves off with it. The makers put a frozen treat at roughly twenty to forty minutes, which is about the length of the problem.

Sunday-night prep

Fill the tray once.

The tray makes four at a time. Pour in bone broth, plain yogurt, wet food or peanut butter, freeze it overnight, and the week is done.

You decide what goes in, which is the part most owners care about — no mystery filling, no refill packs to buy.

Why it works

Half an hour of quiet, out of the freezer.

Close-up of the green treat ball on a wooden floor with a frozen treat visible in the opening

Freeze once, feed all week.

Four cavities means four sessions out of one evening of prep.

Frozen is what makes it last.

Getting to it takes real work instead of three seconds of licking.

How the treat ball and tray work in three steps: fill the tray, freeze four treats, load the ball

It comes apart to clean.

Unscrew the ball into its two halves and rinse both. Nothing is trapped where you cannot reach.

💬 FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

What size dog is it for?

It is made for medium to large dogs, roughly 25 to 75 lbs — breeds that would get through a smaller toy quickly.

What do I freeze in the tray?

Bone broth, plain yogurt, wet food, peanut butter or pureed fruit all work. Freeze the tray, pop one out, and load it into the ball.

How do I clean it?

Unscrew the ball into its two halves and rinse both out. Because it comes apart completely, nothing gets trapped where you cannot reach.

When will it arrive, and can I return it?

Orders are packed within 1–3 business days and take 5–10 business days in transit, so usually 6–13 business days in total. You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Customers in the EU also have a 14-day cancellation right.

From the founder

If the page is wrong, I want to hear it.

Everything on this page is either a manufacturer figure or something we can show you. Where a supplier will not give me a measurement, the page says so rather than inventing one.

That is not generosity — it is the only version of a small shop that survives meeting a real customer. You open the box, and either it is what the page said it was, or it is not.

If it is not, tell me. You have thirty days to send it back, and I would genuinely rather hear about it than not.

What pet owners are saying

Where these reviews come from: they were collected by the supplier of this product from buyers on other marketplaces, not from orders placed with Furry Calm. They are about the same item, and we would rather tell you that than let you assume otherwise. As our own customers review their orders, those will appear here too.
